Rates too High?
It is not uncommon for people to feel that direct mail advertising rates are too high. We strive to provide businesses with the most effective advertising for their money. To ensure that we are competitively priced, we compared our rates to other types of advertising commonly used by businesses today.

Postcards:
If you were to send your own postcards out to residents in your area, you would have to pay for postage, currently 11.7 cents each for unaddressed mail including transport, printing, currently costs are about 10 cents to 30 cents each, and then fulfillment services which can range from $500 to $2500. Looking at the lowest cost scenario, it would cost you about $11,000 to print and mail 50,000 postcards (one time!) to all the residents of YOUR CITY and that doesn't even include the artwork.

Newspaper Ads:
There are several issues with newspapers that make them less desirable than direct mailing. First of all, few people look at every page in the paper. Second, newspaper readers tend to skim over the ads and direct their eyes at textual articles. Third, you have to look at the way people receive the paper. Do they have to buy it? Do they have to subscribe to it? Do they get it free, but tossed at their curbside, leaving your ad sitting on a sidewalk waiting for someone to pick up the paper and open it? How many people will actually get the paper, open it up and also look at the page your ad is on? Many people shy away from papers because of the messy ink involved as well.

Yellow Pages:
While everyone who has a business line also gets a listing in the Yellow Pages of their local phone book, is it really worth paying more money for a large graphical ad? These days most people are searching for listings online rather than in a print directly and did you know that to have your ad online will cost you more money? Looking at the rates for print ads, you'd think they'd put you on the web for free! Look how many Yellow Page directories you have to choose from. To place the smallest graphical ad in ONE of those books, it's going to cost you about $$$ PER MONTH. Want to be in all directories? Make that $$$ per month, or about $$$ per year (since once they print it, your are obligated to pay for it for 12 months, no going back). Now, how many people are going to see your little 1.5" x 2" ad in the phone book? Who will even be able to figure out what section you are in and find you? Also, you are unable to change your ad after it goes to print for a whole year!

Other Coupon Magazines:
We were unable to find any other coupon-based magazine or mailing who can offer prices the same or lower than ours and still provide the same types of zones, equal number of ads mailed to residents, and online graphical ads to advertisers.
